Gaza War on New Media

A horrible massacre is continuing against people there in Gaza. Israelis troops are attacking everyone and everything there. 390 martyrs and more than 2000 injured. Children killed, mosques and universities destroyed. Also hospitals in Gaza are intimidated by  the threat of potentially being bombed .
Angry Arab and Muslim youth all over the world are going to demonstrations and protests to stop the Israeli war on Gaza and to push their leaders to stop this violence against civilians.

On the Internet there is a new war happening on the social sites. In the first hours of the attacks many of the younger generation of people started to tweet the news, publishing blog posts and posting photos and videos of what's happening there. #Gaza lead the search results in  twitter. Many pro Palestinians tweeted news about massacre in Gaza, many of them called it a new Holocaust against Palestinians. Many of them started discussions with Israelis. @nazek88 still tweeting form Gaza, providing some videos and pictures from the damage around her. Later on the Israeli government started their official twitter account @israelconsulate and held online press conferences with the twitter world. AlJazeera also launched @AJGaza as an official twitter account to tweet AlJazeera News about Gaza, and AlJazeera is receiving your views and contributions about What happening on this site: Yourviews for Englsih Channel and Sharek for Arabic channel

Some of the online Arab Activist community started an online campaign to support Gaza calling it "Blogging resistance". They launched a facebook group to make the biggest online demonstration to encourage all Arabic and Muslim bloggers to blog and tell the truth about what going on Gaza. Thousands of angry blog posts against the Arab governments silence on the situation. They started to use avatars saying "We are all with Gaza".  AlJazeeraTalk reactivated Gaza Blog which launched one the beginning of Gaza siege and many exclusive contributions from Gaza and all over the world for all activities supporting Gaza. Many of Second life users walked on a virtual demonstration on some places of second life. Ikbis the leading Arabic video site started a Gaza channel to collect videos and opinions about Gaza. Dwwen "an Arabic blogs aggregator" made a special page to aggregate Gaza related blogs. Some bloggers wrote about how to win the war in the new media world and how to use the Internet as a new resistance tool.
